Like all country in the world , January 1  is the New Year's day in Taiwan .

At New Year day's eve always have  countdown partys everywhere .

There are many TV channels  live broadcast some countdown partys ,

And they all have fireworks , the most splendid is at Taipei 101 building .

At the countdown party , there are many show and singer would sing many songs ,

some of them need to get to the other countdown party ,and not the same place .

So they need  to take high speed railway to catch on time. 

Every year , a flag-raising ceremony is held at presidential palace .

People go to the plaza which is in front of presidential palace plaza to sing the national anthem .

We have three successive days for New Year's vacation this year .
